WHAT IS NEGLECT?
Neglect is the failure to provide adequate care, attention, or supervision to meet someone’s needs. There are different types of neglect, and they can manifest in different settings such as child neglect, elder neglect, or self-neglect.

There are many different types of neglect. These are broken down in to neglect towards children and elderly neglect.
